The Privacy Policy of FindaTutor.com.au (hereafter referred to as "The Business") demonstrates our commitment to your privacy rights. For the purpose of this statement registered users, tuition providers and nominators will collectively be referred to as “Clients”.

Since we gather certain types of information about our clients, we want clients to fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the collection and use of that information. This privacy statement discloses what information we gather, how we use it, and how to correct or change it.

1. Information the Business Gathers and Tracks

The Business gathers information about our clients that they submit to our online forms. This information enables individual paying customers to access contact information provided by tuition providers.  The amount of information entered is at the discretion of the tuition providers. The client’s e-mail addresses may be used in future e-mail campaigns.

The Business gathers registered user information in the following processes:

Cookies - The Business minimises the use of cookies to only those necessary to properly route users within our site. The Business provides links to advertiser and partner websites. These sites may choose to use cookies to better promote their products and services.

Usage Tracking - The Business tracks information related to overall user traffic patterns throughout our site in order to make decisions regarding content and services.

Log Files - Log files are used to track and monitor traffic patterns on our site for maintenance purposes. The logs are not used to track or monitor personally identifiable information.

E-mail Offers -The Business e-mails free information to our clients. Clients may remove themselves from this mailing list by utilising the unsubscribe options.

Nominating - Users can choose to electronically notify the Business of an individual who may be interested in our services. Clients must provide the Business with the e-mail address or business contact details of the intended recipient. This information is not retained nor used for any other purpose than the intent of promoting our services to that individual one time.

User Feedback/Inquiries - Users have the ability to contact the Business to provide us with their feedback. The Business does not retain this information for any purpose other than to respond to the user.

Outside Links - This site contains links to other sites. Users will be taken to a separate site if they click on one of these links. The Business is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any secondary websites. We encourage all users to review the privacy policy of any site they visit.

Other Circumstances - From time to time, the Business may sponsor sweepstakes, contests or other events that require the collection, processing, and storage of individual contact and demographic information to be used for the event. We do not require the user to provide additional information to participate in the event. 2. Use of Information

The Business uses any information voluntarily given by our clients to enhance their opportunities on our website.

We also use information, which clients voluntarily provide, in order to send out electronic mailings. Clients may opt-out of receiving mailings by contacting us at the Business.

The Business is able to offer its free services based on the willingness of our tuition providers to be reached by registered users; these can include third parties. By allowing the Business to make the information you supply available you consent to allowing paying customers to view your contact details.

3. Sharing of Information

The Business uses the information described above to tailor our content and help our registered users better select tuition providers. The Business does not control the practices of our advertisers or other third party marketers who may access our site as paying clients.

All information provided to the Business by a client may be used to support our suppression services. Suppression provides for the removal of client information from the site whilst maintaining registrant information on our database.

The Business also participates in affiliate network programs and various co-marketing partnerships to promote our site. The Business does not share or receive personally identifiable information for these site-to-site traffic-building programs.

As a rule, the Business will not intentionally disclose personally identifiable information about its clients to any third party without first receiving the client's permission. Registered users may unsubscribe to our electronic mailings at any time by following the unsubscribe option.

Correcting, updating, or requesting the deletion of information that you have provided may be accomplished by accessing the website or by writing to FindaTutor.com.au.

Notification of Changes From time to time, we may use client information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. 5. Security Policy

The Business takes every reasonable precaution to protect our client's information. When you submit information, your information is protected both on-line and off-line in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
